I have been advising businesses and entrepreneurs for more than 25 years. This includes mergers and acquisitions, private financings, technology licensing and transfers, start-up and emerging company issues, joint ventures and a wide range of commercial contract matters.
Prior to starting Mehall Law, I was a principal in the Boston law firm of Powers & Hall. I have advised on transactions with valuations ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to more than a billion dollars and in industries ranging from health care to hi-technology to manufacturing to business services. I have extensive experience in representing businesses in mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, both from the standpoint of the acquirer and the target companies. I also advise both mature and emerging and start-up businesses on organizational, financing, contract and licensing matters.
I received my law degree and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from The Ohio State University. In addition to Massachusetts, I am licensed in New Hampshire and Maine.
